My friend is a researcher working at the Central lab for Aquaculture Research, Egypt, and is interested in macroalgae cultivation and using them as biofilters for aquaculture waste water.
At the present time there is a call (German-Egyptian Joint project). He would like to apply for it to study the effect of N:P ratio on the performance of Ulva sp. (growth and photosynthesis activity) as well as on the nitrate up take rate and assimilation and finally on the biochemical composition of Ulva. Is there anyone interested in this cooperation?
Dear Nabil, You are interested for Ulva sp. and also you try Kappaphycus alverazii which is easy , fast growing and have market values.
