I am interested to see if the frequency of social behaviours, not involving tools (I assume this is a form of nonmaterial culture), such as grooming, play, aggression etc.  differ across chimpanzee communities/groups. Essentially, the question I want to ask is along the lines of 'does chimpanzee sociality or social interaction differ according to the social group'.

I am aware that a whole range of other factors could influence or explain any differences across different communtiies, but at this stage I am just interested to see if there is any such literature?

Many thanks!
