*Request for information on combining physical exercice with cognitive learning of a language.

As I am learning to teach French to adolescents at High School (Voortgezet Onderwijs in the Netherlands), I would like to know more on combining body-exercises with cognitive skills.

As I have an education in teaching in both TaiChi (taiji) and Dance (Biodanza) I naturally want to use body movement to enhance the learning process in class. However I would like to substantiate my theory that physical exercice aids adolescents (age 12-16) in learning a language.

I came across the interesting research on Embodied Learning of Kontra (Kontra, C., Goldin‐Meadow, S., & Beilock, S. L. (2012). Embodied learning across the life span. Topics in Cognitive Science, 4(4), 731-739.)

I wonder if this subject has been researched by others.
