Yes, not only uniform format but also in one local language which helps Investigating officer to understand easily and effectively use in the process of investigation.
Yes there is a need. The proforma may be bilingual that is in En
glish and Hindi or any other local language of the state. Should be filled up by the doctors in both languages.

It is a must to an SOP (Standard operational procedure) for a legal document such as the PM report. In Sri Lanka, it is practiced and the document published by the College of Forensic Pathologists of Sri Lanka is attached herewith. I hope it'll be of use to you.
Uniform proforma as well as uniform set-up as far as possible will be more helpful considering all aspects.It's my personal view.
