Suppose i have measured the cracks along the column, beams and wall of the building. I need to put this information on my BIM model on revit to show the current condition of the building. Can this be done ? On a tight deadline ! Help !!!!
As far as I know there's no conventional method to do that in Revit. Try other ways like modelling in AutoCAD/Rhino/etc. and present it with rendering the details.
I presume you would need to create your own beam/column IFC parameter fro cracks in the Family Editor. Re modelling it, you should be able to do it in Revit Family Editor or third party software and import is as ACIS solid.
If its just for presentation/ visuals, I would create a mass column and manually place the cracks as measured or take a non-distorted picture and place it as decal for rendering.
