Thank you Miroslaw for your link. In your articles, I found some interesting points of carbon emission market in the context of Poland. I will go through it.
Yes. I am working at it since last 5 years. I am in process of drafting my profile and will be available soon. Mean while please visit www.vayoochakra.com to have a look at the innovative turbine designed and fabricated by me. the turbine is under testing stage. The module have many applications for generating power from wind and from displaced air from trains, airplanes motions at railway tracks and at air ports. The turbine is suitable for "out of wind belt" applications.
Hello Dr. Justyna, thank you for sharing your link. I found an interesting article entitled "SMALL-SCALE RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS IN THE
DEVELOPMENT OF DISTRIBUTED GENERATION IN POLAND" in which you address some interesting points of sustainability thinking in the regional context. This exactly suit my research area as I am working my thesis on Geography of transition in solar and wind energy sector in Gujarat.
My experience to date has moved from the analysis of innovation in the European ceramic tile industry and its innovation system towards the analysis of how environmental issues affects mature industrial development, with a special focus on energy issues, and how green innovations are brought about in so called traditional industries.
You can hace a look to my profile at RG and in my webpage http://dagaes.blogs.uv.es/
Thank you so much for sharing article. Besides, I came across some interesting work on energy and transport sector in the urban context of Brazil. Great work!
The topic you are looking at is very broad. You need to be a more specific. You can look at the papers that I have published. My research focus is on sustainable electricity generations. In my work I assess both the technology and policy.
Thank you for your mail and suggestion. I am looking at the socio-technical transition of solar and wind energy at the regional scale of Gujarat, India. The key research question is why the region of Gujarat is significant for the niche experimentation of these technologies?
Your research papers would be very useful in my literature review.
I have not encountered a research or study focused on this. However, there are examples with this as a trajectory. By Dec. 2015 when all nations meet in Paris for the Climate Summit, all countries must submit an "Intended Nationally Determined Contribution" to mitigate climate change or not to increase the global temperature beyond the 2 degree variance. Here, countries and regions (Europe mostly) are comitting exact numbers on megawatts they will invest in to shift to renewable energy. In a way the shift is geographic (country basis) and regional (Europe). Costa Rica for example targets 100% RE this year or next year. Others have also target RE because of its impact in avoiding carbon emissions. This is the closest data available today.
Thank you for your information. It is really interesting and new to me. I think Costa Rica will be the first country for aiming 100 % RE. One can address the drivers behind this transitions. I searched some Energy Ministries website of Costa Rica but did find out the right one. If you know useful link related to diffusion of RE in this country, Please share it to me. I found some academic interest in it!
