For modelling in social sciences, grounded theory supposed to be a suitable methodology, but i wonder if there is any other method for this reason!
Qualitative research methods are favored in social sciences. One can go for Rikert Scale based questionnaires too.
You can consider quantitative perspective. If you have decided to deal with grounded theory you can add survey to measure on scale the peoples perception. You may try to use Network Analysis basing on questionnaires.
