I haven't specifically worked on it. At one time I really wanted to see the impact of 9/11 on afghan transit trade a pre or post analysis but dear syed there're so many intervening variables in case of afghanistan and there is a lot of issue in the availability of data.
One of my friends worked on SAARC some time series analysis and had to limit the research to all countries excluding afghanistan due to non availabiliy of the secondary data.
