This a question for researchers on Oil Painting (canvas) conservation. It could be possible the formation of glass states inside the paintings. I have tried to find some article in the literature without any success. Since the "Metal soaps in Art Conference" (Amsterdam, 2016), metal soaps have appeared in thounsends of famous oil paintings. These organic salts ( e.g., lead(II) alkanoates) are glass formers.

If the oil in which pigment are desolved is not too basic, don't worry about glass contamination.
it may be necessary to look for glass fibers or R-type reinforced glasses that are chemically resistant
consider using doped titanium or chromium reinforcing glasses to avoid the effect photocatalytic degradation
