Doing research in the area of Psychosocial implications for Specific Learning Disability with adolescents. So need a tool to screen out children and adolescents from class 9 and above for LD.
If you are looking for an individually-administered screening, Stephen Joy's suggestion is a good one. I personally favour the Woodcock-Johnson, but that is individually-administered and can be quite time consuming. I do not know of any validated tests that can be administered on-line or in a group. But if time investment is an issue, I suggest administering the WRAT-IV first, then administering the general cognitive test only if the WRAT-IV suggests below average achievement. That might make you miss some highly-compensated persons with an SLD, and I don't know if that is an acceptable risk.
The Wide Range Achievement Test (WRAT-IV) is a useful screening tool. It does require 1:1 administration, though. And you would want some sort of ability measure against which to compare the achievement results: either s short form of a major intelligence test (WASI or KBIT, perhaps) or a group-administered one like the Otis-Lennon.

If you are just looking for a screening measure of a specific learning disability, 1) which learning disability are you considering? Is it something where you could use school performance, or a teacher rating as a screening measure of achievement? If so, why not create a BRIEF rating scale (just so you have some criteria definitions for the rating scale), review it with the teachers, counselors, parents, whoever is doing the ratings, if you can get them on board and avoid tons of extra testing?
