All the reports I have seen are associated with certain manufacturers which I suspect they are biased. Is there any research compare the real power output of a real system in the filed? I am also interested to know the difference between LID, annual degradation rate.
Unfortunately, in my view there will be too many confounding variables to make any such study worthwhile. You would have to match the panel alignment, cloud condition, sun angle, Panel temperature, panel cleanliness, panel age, wiring arrangement used, MPPT algorithms used, and possibly more.
Degradation rate can sometimes be read from the manufacturer's information, if you can believe it. Perhaps someone knows of independent studies on this? But you still have the problem of confounding variables. It won't be a straightforward comparison.

There's a range of institutes that have outdoor test stands where they have 1-2 modules of each type. I know Fraunhofer ISE does this, probably NREL, UNSW and some others do this too. Maybe you can check out their websites for published data.
Tony, thanks for the advise, most of the problem can be solved by setting two plants side by side at the same location. But I did not see any report. Like Manuel mentioned, most institutes make comparison of few modules, but it's not practical enough for me. Thanks anyway for all your input.
