Vascular clips can be used to clip the flap of the opened sac and the nasal mucosa flap in proper position. Fibrin glue or suturing is also done. These techniques reduce recurrence rates. What is your experience regarding using clips?

I have not used any vascular clips. I create a very large opening in the sacred. Ìnferior based nasal mucosa is replaced in my series we had good success rate. Around 90 percent.

Now a days many ENT Surgeons have started putting stitches between post wall of lacrimal sac and posteriorly raised nasal mucosa some are using fibrin glue and now a days some are applying vascular clips. Purpose is DCR Site should not get blocked by granulations and then fibrosis. This will happen
