Supposing there is a hybrid DAE system with the Fillipov solution which needs to be converted to a problem with complementarity constraints (MPCC), I am wondering if the discontinuity locates at the algebraic constraint instead of the differential ones, there is any specific considerations. All the examples of such a conversion I have seen are for the differential inclusions and I am wondering if I can use exactly similar techniques for my case or I need to consider other considerations.
