The technological developments are running at a great speed in different directions. Do you think in near future a totally MAN-Less University may develop? A well designed Supercomputer may perform all the administrative works as well as supply of educational inputs to the students and taking exams – all through online connections?
Artificial intelligence will definitely change/possibly facilitate and improve the academic and administrative activities. However, a right balance between technology and human contact would be important.
I fully agree with Yogesh. Moreover, in a university man-less who would console me when I quarrel with my Muse.

Maybe, we can think about universities with big computers and just a few people working in administrative positions. Just a few professors organizing curricula, etc... But something like "a well designed Supercomputer may perform all the administrative works as well as a supply of educational inputs to the students and be taking exams – all through online connections" doesn´t seem real to me.
I really believe that universities are going to change, and I am using online options with success and satisfaction.
I can think in MOOC and distance learning working even better than today. In online courses with shared works from different countries, etc... but not totally MAN-LESS.

The university of the future will not be man-less; many administrative tasks, courses, exams and the like can be automated. That will create space for real managerial and scientific talent ; all forms of regurgitation will become obsolete.
Online learning, online presentations, online exams ...then Manless university!!!! Totally in a virtual world!!!

In point of fact, computers and telecommunications are the most influential technologies which will probably reshape higher education much more than we think they do. However, man's position is very crucial in planning and managing education and any modifications introduced by super-computers will be peripheral.

Possibility, but is this robotized university going to provide living examples of how to live an ethical or moral research life. Or will the latter require human contact.
