I'm in search of questionnaire to adopt for my study on the use of whatsapp in teaching. I am at the initial stage and reviewing several studies to design my own research study. I appreciate your suggestions from all aspects, especially in the selection of research design.
My research participants are my students (20 students) of final year linguistics. I'm using whatsapp for teaching them only one subject and wants to see its role in enhancing the learning of my students. I want to conduct a quantitative study.

Good references up there. My suggestion is please set your targets first, i.e. what do want your students to learn at the end of the course? This is very good approach which falls in Outcome Based Education (OBE). Set your assessment tools for their learning achievement. I suggest to have brilliant results, you may try both observation and face to face interviews. By doing the above you will be having enough slots for your questionnaire if you intend to continue with it. Since it falls in use of resources in TESOL you like to see my TESOL Good Practice. Is there any sample of questionnaire to study the role of whatsapp in teaching?
Questionnaire is used to operationalize your construct / variable that you want to measure. Not sure your specific construct is "role of whatsapp" or "use of whatsapp" etc. or how it is being used in the bigger picture of your conceptual framework / research model. You might want operationally define all the constructs / variables, then adopt / adapt or worst scenario you might what to develop your own questionnaire to measure the constructs.
For a start not sure you might want to review the literature on Technology Adoption Model (TAM) which can include following constructs with the questionnaire:
