I am working on a project which I've developed my FCM and right now I want to start simulating the dynamic behavior of my system(scenario testing). I am confused for some of my nodes what initial value to choose but on the other hand I'm aware of the notion which require experts opinion on scenarios development. I just wanted to know if there is any suggested initial values for inferring process.
I am not sure what your scenario is but in my humble opinion you can start from any random value. However, in one of similar cases, a long time ago, I remember someone used Evolutionary Programming to achieve optimized initial values of nodes. I am sorry but I cannot recall the references to the paper right now.

I am wondering, can we use multi-criteria decision model to generate the initial value of the node? For instance, we have two nodes, one is the house characteristics and the other is your safety. Can we create the initial value of the node of the house based on the age, location, and building material of the house by giving a weight to each criteria and sum them together to get the initial value of the house?
