Is there any researcher who studies critically the accumulation of nitrite in anaerobic reactors?

I am studying the accumulation of nitrite in the UASB reactor and anaerobic filter. For what I have been looked for, there are some studies in this area but I want to know if you (that are reading) have the knowledge of the factors that influence the greater accumulation of nitrite in these reactors. We can talk about it and share experiences. Thank you.
