I can find many research papers on FLC, but I would like some resources concerning informal FLC, which is I am working on now.

FLC are in fact, de facto, informal learning communities.... samples of which are the “brown bag meeting” or “peer sharing”...you could try to look into these...
Contact the office of faculty development on the CSU East Bay campus. They do a host of faculty learning communities yearly.
