I would utilize the terms of "wellness" for older adults. Music therapists provide services to individuals who are retired, but have no health issues, focusing more on maintaining function levels physically and cognitively. It is framed around a wellness model.
Naomi Field has developed a method called Validation. The method has been you'd in Swedish but it is a method developed in US. I cannot describe the method but You can take a look at the video below.
In America, people "retire" and then go on to another career. Very few people check out of the workforce completely and engage in years of "leisure."
