My question replicate that Can technology make us paperless for students and corporates to make notes and store ebooks? Also when the technology or the big it companies can come up with such solutions?
I think so. The new generation now approaching towards paperless method. We are using Blackboard software to teach students and they are doing their assignments & quizzes online.
Reading and writing on digital devices versus paper media has a cognitive dimension that can affect the learning process. Here are some recent publications that may be of interest in this regard:

Mangen also has a ResearchGate profile with additional publications dealing with this topic:
It is currently unrealistic in less developed economies due to poor and low level of technology as well as inadequacies associated with power supply, internet connection and general physical
and social infrastructure. But when it finally becomes workable, what happens to visually impaired? What happens when there is a strong need of impromptu documentation? My sincere condolences will go to publishers of various textbooks, manufacturers of pen, pencils, erasers and various numerous stationary. These entrepreneurs will find it difficult as the market for ebooks and estationaries become more tight than ever.
