There are many other approaches and variations, and one could hybridize different ones. For example, narrative inquiry and thematic analysis. Think about what your research question is and what you want to accomplish with your results. Then you need to see what population/sample would be needed, being mindful you have acceptable generalizability and transferability. Everything then must answer feasability: Do you have the time, money, resources, and access?

By far the most common way to collect qualitative data is through semi-structured interviews, and a very common way to analyze the data is through thematic analysis. In other words, you don't need an approach with a label. Instead, you need solid research questions and appropriate ways to collect and analyze data to address those questions.

In addition to the well-known qualitative study designs such as case studies, phenomenology, ethnography, grounded theory, and historical studies, researchers can choose several other qualitative approaches based on their research goals. These include narrative inquiry, content analysis, discourse analysis, action research, participatory action research, visual ethnography, comparative case studies, constructivist grounded theory, feminist research, ethnographic case studies, symbolic interactionism, and grounded action research. To emphasize, they should select the most appropriate approach depending on the research questions and context to grasp the phenomenon they are studying. It depends on what you want to achieve with the intervention. Photovoice is another approach, if you are interested in empowering the intervention users. In the end you may still conduct interviews and focus groups for additional data.
