Is there any other activity for beta galactosidase other than lactose hydrolysis and transgalactosylation?

I have screened actinomycetes possesing beta galactosidase activity.Ineed to know whether the enzyme is having any other activity like antibiotic activity or anti cancer or anti inflammatory activities.
