1. I have applied Hargreaves’ Method to estimate daily ETo , but most of the results seem to be unrealistic.
2. Penman-Monteith equation requires a bundle of data, which is not available in my case.
3. Is Thornwaite method feasible or applicable for "daily ETo"? if yes then any reference study ?
4. Moreover, is there any other method which can be utilize to estimate "daily ETo" with minimum data input .?
You can try Jensen and Haise (1964) empirical formulation that uses only global radiation (Rg) and mean daily air temperature (Ta). See in Maselli et al. 2014 (watch for units!): http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0034425714002417

You can use the Hargreave's equation to estimate ETo, it only requires temperature data (Tmin and Tmax)
The Banley-Criddle equation (1950) can be used to estimate PE with temperature data, but it is usually recommended for monthly averages only ;-)
For Potential Evapotranspiration, you can use Hamon Method (1961). We only need daily temperature and daily length (can be obtained fromNational Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) USA Data).
