It is all right for processing of lignin, I want to know chemically modification like some naming reaction

You can oxidize lignin with chemicals or enzymes, that indroduce some functional grups, changing polarity, for instance. You can polymerize lignins and do other reactions. Is there any specific aim that you are looking for?

Some white rot fongus have the ability of degrading lignin by enzymathic way it may help you

I want to do chemical modification of lignin , if you know any methods to modification of lignin , just let me know.
