In Peru there are illegal Fleets for shrimp (small trawl net). These fleet operating in coastal area of Piura (north Part of Peru) with very much impact to marine ecosystems, so we need to promote more friendly fishing gear to the marine environment.
I have understood that these pots work in the Canary Islands also tested in Cabo Verde. Please anyone who can help me?
I suppose you mean pots that are kept few meters above the sea floor. These pots are used also in the Western Mediterranean Sea by Spanish fishermen to catch pandalid shrimps. and have been tested successfully also by some French and Italian fisher.

I suppose you mean pots placed few meters above the sea floor. These pots are used also in the western Mediterranean to catch pandalid shrimps, mainly by Spanish fishers. Years ago the IFREMER made some test to introduce this technique in the artisanal fleet in Corse. Some Italian fisher has also adopted this technique after weeks of trials and errors.
