I am starting to investigate the fault detection algorithms on pv array.
For using machine learning approaches, the proper way to gather labelled data is to run simulation for fault data injection.
Is it possible to get real labelled I-V data from the Internet ?
or is there any good and free solution to do fault injection and pv array simulation?

PV array can be simulated using MATLAB by constructing the equivalent circuit. If you want to simulate the Solar PV system then you can use PSAT toolbox.
PV array can allso be simulated using HOMER or TRNSYS software. I am using TRSYS sofware.
In MATLAB 2015 solar array is available with different solar modules IV data, You can use any of the module data and simulate according to your requirements.....
