I have been on this topic for some time now. I know that commercial software ( for instance, from mazor robotics) segments the vertebras automatically in order to coregister them 3d-2d with the current radiographs obtained at the time of surgery. So, there is a way. Up to now, however, I havent fiund a freely available software that would do the segmentation. I know FAST spine from Siemens can do automatic labelling, but i need the segmentation. At the end, it doesnt have to bee free, but I need the images of separate vertebras from a CT scan. I mean, nit vertebral bodies, whole vertebras, including the articular and spinous processes. Is there any software that can do this?
