Just to play devil's advocate here, do you think data on political, economic and financial risk since 1984 will be reliable on a monthly basis? Would it be useful in predicting risks such as the Asian financial crisis? Dot-com bust? Global financial crisis? Taliban's triumph in Afghanistan? I would have thought any such data would have little research value.

First of all, I would like to express my sincerely gratitude for your response. Actually, I share your concerns but the firm declares that they strongly arrange indices along with the many different components that constitutes each main risk title. The data can be preferred as annual data over the monthly data as you requested and a method can be determined accordingly within the structure of the research. It's best to see this in the near future. So what is your opinion, what advice do you have on the best measurement method, moreover, when the difficulty of accessing the data is obvious, do you think I can use different data taking into account all three risk types?
