Thanks for sharing your paper with me. It sounds very successful paper. Congratulations. But I use regression analysis instead of CFA or SEM. Also I prefer hard financial indicator for financial corporate results. So as to my financial variables, they are just different from yours and established to regression analysis.. This is a secondary way for me. Maybe I yield to another topic for this method. Thanks for sharing your opinion anyway.

1. You have to begin your empirical/discussion section with a couple of tables: descriptive statistics (Table 1) and correlation (Table 2). These tables will help checking the distribution of your data, to make sure it is linear and later you can link them to your regression findings.

2. If your data is linear (you do not have fat tails, fat-tailed distribution), you can perform OLS regression and here I advise you to use 2 dependent variables: ROE, which depends on data obtained from balance sheets; and TQ, which is calculated using market data(preferable!). Accordingly, Table 3 should present the empirical findings associated with ROE, and Table 4 shows the empirical findings associated with Q Ratio (Tobin's Q Ratio).

3. For controlling variables, you may need to use the following variables:

(1) Firm size

(2) Firm age

(3) Leverage

(4) State’s ownership

(5) Industry

(6) Year

4. If your data is non-linear, then you have to use a different methodology than OLS such as the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM).

Please note: I assumed that your data is ‘time series’ NOT ‘panel data’ or ‘cross-sectional’? and your data is collected in the period after 2007 (post financial crisis)- the global financial crisis began in August 2007 and reached full force in 2008.

Appreciated your words and thanks for your interest.

1. I had already prepared descriptive section including correlation analysis, distribution tables, spy graphics and so on...

2. You are absolutely right that my data is linear and I'm using OLS estimator for this. At first, I intented so many dependent variable seperating, classifying and organizing them profitability, growth, working capital, capital structures and market based variables (total 14 variables, TQ included). But it was too hard to estimate each of them is selected as dependent variable. So I decided to select just one dependent variable and set up my design over it.

Later on, I added ROA and debt to equity ratio, then SIZE and AGE. This helped me to acquire base regression model. These were all significant and goodness of fit for the model were increased in all way. Finally added independent organizational culture variables; Involvement, Consistency, Adaptation, Mission and OC itself. That's no trouble here.

My data is cross-sectional because of the OC data. I picked up them via a survey and these valid for just one year as the financial variables are estimated average of 5 years and not contain of extraordinary incidents. So, I tiled up my research method as well but I think there is a missing point on OC assessment and could not connect it to the results. This is rooted in OC itself, I think.

My sample is from one industry; chemistry sector and it includes a small set of business (33). Accordingly, it doesn't have any state ownership, just private sector.

I would have done comparative financial analysis (with the performance of the same company's branches in other countries), or with similar companies performance (from the same sector).

Have you developed a framework to track/measure the corporate culture?

First of all, thanks for your contribution.

My research sample is chemistry industry to evaluate the effect in same environmental businesses. This is not firm analysis. I actually did sectoral analysis on chemistry industry and chose average of 5 years financial data to regression model. So, getting a culture index point is good for the multiple lineer regression. Making a firm analysis is not reasonable to me for some reasons.

By the way I did not developed any framework and using Denison's Organizational Culture Model which has 4 sub-culture dimensions.

Please note that I had all the works you mentioned and I already used Denison's OCM.

But sincerely I found your attached paper very useful anyway. I think the second one that is in Russian language is the longer version of other paper. Maybe it will be good to have it in English version.

As to project, I now need to add my theoretical attribution to clear C/P issue on theoretical framework because I get insignificant results including C/P issue in my analysis. Now I'll add my empirical findings. There are some base findings but I'll need some strong additional assessments for the findings. That's the point.

How are u using "corporate" culture generalized as a sector's variable?

I mean this is an average score in sub-dimensional for the sample such as involvement (sole score), consistency (sole score), adaptability (sole score) and mission (sole score).

Each time I added them separately in a financial consistent regression model. And also accumulated them in a total culture score, that is culture itself and I located the total culture score in the regression again. That is no below or above score by thinking firm-based. No firm is specifically located in the regression but industry's average instead (Totally 5 regression including culture and sub-dimensions score).

So I did not handle the culture and it's dimension in a firm-based score. I attributed a general assessment as industry-based.

PS: I also used interaction term as control variables by multiplying cultural score and firm age.

I think it is clear now.
