Is there any effect of magnetic field on Semiconductor materials especially Si and Ge ?
Is this effect significant or very very negligible?

we observe a huge influence of a magnetic field on the properties of semiconductors like transport or optical properties. Such properties are the conductivity or permittivity.
Perhaps could you focus your question more specific to that point you are interested in?

As Mitdank says you can find many influences of magnetic field especially the Hall effect in semiconductors and Spintronics such Spin Led (transport) and about optical properties, we found the polarization of photoluminescence submerged in strong magnetic field ( quantum dots for exemple) but not for Si or Ge. You should push research forward by adding magnetic material such as Co or Mn ..etc
