I am interested to know
Does the magnetic field exert any mechanical or thermal effect on semiconductor materials?
Magnetic field can effect thermal transport. And magnetostriction is a mechanical behaviour if your material is magnetostrictive.
The short answer is yes. Consider e.g. the magnetocaloric effect [1,2].

In addition to the experts' suggestions, you may also find this attached material useful. All the best.
In diamagnetic material we can not expect any significant mechanical or thermal effect of magnetic field (less then 40 Tesla)
Peoples are writing papers including various parameters in different types of materials. but actually from experts I want to know Is there any effect of magnetic field on Semiconductor materials...
