Yes, they are different. The suspended particles in the air consist of dust with varying dimensions. particles smaller than 2.5 micrometres can penetrate the core of cells. In addition, they penetrate into the lungs causing respiratory and Pulmonary problems. Also this particle can combine with other pollution in the city (dust polluted) that is very dangerous. But the soil due to more continuity, don't cause to respiratory problems.

Yeah Ahmad Assar Enayati ... that’s understood.. but the calculation based risk assessment for both dust soil or anything is for metal content irrespective of media ( dust or soil)... so there is no difference in that calculation...

the difference is only for population you are choosing like adult or children ....
