If cellulose is digestible,we can make use of plant cellulose, and we can make fuel gas out of digestion, and residual is good manure.

Sugarcane and sugar beet,cellulase can be converted ueful sugar, increasing yield, and in that process reducing carbon foot print.

If we know the bacteria that produce cellulase, isolation of that coded gene, and incorporating it in the yeast, may have enhanced yield of sugar , fom sugarcane, sugar beet. Come across in the"THE HINDU"

There are few gut bacteria in termites which producing cellulase. It would be better if you isolate bacteria from termite gut?
