Is there any academic worth or API number of publishing a book through Lambert academic publishing.
Please check whether they apply the basic standards of academic publishing, such as peer-review, editorial or proof-reading processes.

They will publish your Ph. D. thesis as a book with ISBN in record time without any publication/processing charges. Eventually it will be put on to the online sellers such as Amazon. So, what's wrong in that?
This publisher will publish whatever you offer them. No review process is followed and many of the good institutes in India have blacklisted and the claimant does not get any marks in API score.
My honest opinion is to target a good publisher like Routledge (Taylor and Francis); Springer etc. All of them carry a huge reputation and add a lot of value to your profile. I had an experience of publishing a book with Taylor and Francis, though it took time in the review process and meeting global standards, but after critical reviews and submitting a revised proposal; table of contents; Chapter abstract etc the book is now published. This process took almost three years but gives you an academic gratification as your work is widely acknowledged across all the reputed institutes.
