I always seem to be wasting time looking for polymers for specific applications. Some times, I need high viscosities, some times I need specific densities. I would like to know is there a site/ database/ tool that serves a search engine and a tool that you can identify elements/ substances based on specific properties.
For example to search for polymers with:
viscosities in the range a-b
densities in the range c-d
with acidic groups

I am unable to remember something like you ask for, I'm even wondering if such a tool exists right now (would be great isn't?). I suggest to look for the Polymer Handbook (either be digital or hardcopy) and then look for the data you need. Good Luck!!
