i'd like to know if there is an equation for the determination of E and strength of nanocomposite filled with nano particles with rod shape (aspect ratio >1), to apply to my case.
i know that eintain equation is for spherical particles, i also found the Mooney's equation and it could be fine but i there is the crowding factor (s) that i don't how to deal with.

There are sevaral equations for composites with non-speriacal incusions. You can find a good intorduction in the old book of Nielsen on the Physical properties of polymers. These equations do not have any assumption on the size of the inclusions. There are equations which take into account an inter-layer with properties different from oth matrix and filler. These could be used as well, but some guess has to made on the properties of the interphase. I can also suggest you to study the articles of Bel Pukanszky and coworkers on composite modulus and strength, as they contain adjustable parameters that are realted to the stength of interfacial interaction.
