Popular search engines like google scholar and web of science only have search fields like "keywords" and "topic" .. i am looking for something like a search engine that filters papers by the "chemicals and materials used in the study". If there is no such thing, can someone suggest the workflow they use when they want to filter and find in a particular topic based on the materials used in the paper. For example, to find all papers that fabricate solar cells with the specific material "P3HT" used in it.
Any workflow suggestions would be a big help. Thanks!

Certainly you can search some specific "keywords" using "and" to filter out some papers. For example, if you want to search "provoskite solar cells and materials", you may put the keywords with "novel and new" to focus on the new materials. Alternatively you could use the years which researchers published their results for your interests. Or you could search the paper with high citations to find the papers what you need.

I would like to second the colleague Xuhua Wang that what do you intend can be implemented in the existing data bases by using the appropriate key words expressing the chemical structure of the material or the technology.
You can make special data bases for the papers of semiconductors which already classified according to their materials or their technology!
