Development of tachyphylaxis had documented in the peripheral nerve of spinal cord but the peripheral nerve of crainal nerve as inferior alveolar nerve ,don't know about that .
Could hyperalgesia or tachyphylaxis devlope diring nerve block (maxiillary or mandibular nerve)?

Simply if you don't do aspiration and your needle is in vascular structure; alveolar artery or vein ,or you are perineurally injecting the local anesthetic agent.

I am not aware of any tachyphylaxis (decreased efficacy of subsequent injections) with any nerve blocks. However, repeated trauma to a nerve during frequent injections, or ischemia of a nerve due to epi might make the nerve respond differently over time.
