hej, i don't about standard protocol but i can do this using microcalorimetry, it is state of art instrument which can provide online signal. your sample can be placed under N2 and desired RH and a temperature and the overall effect can be seen in term of heat flow. i have actually done similar work for different biological materials.

Hello, thanks for your reply. But I completed it via the old fashioned away with the wet excavation method and measuring the whole, leaves, stem, and root after drying in hot air oven at 103-degree celsius for one hour. Would you have done it online?
Hi, 1 hour drying is too short to obtain dry mass. You should put it at least for 24 h in a dry oven. The stem probably longer!
Thanks Meerbeek for your suggestion. I will keep it in mind. Are there any standard formulas or we just measure all the individual biomasses? Thanks.
