Hi Susara, I am thinking of measuring root traits in the field but since I can not harvest the plants I want to use minirhizotrones (small cameras) that can at least partly show you root turnover as well.

INT works better than TTC, not sure why, it may just penetrate the epidermis better. I've usede it with Spartina and a variety of seagrasses.
