I am trying to figure out the structure of an unknown compound that contains fluorine atoms with NMR, and for the moment I have done the Fluorine (coupled) experiment. As I have a BBO cryoprobe (1H coil serves to observe Fluorine), I would like to conduct a 19F-13C HSQC and HMBC experiments. Is there a ready to use Topspin parameter files for this purpose or should I just modify existing 1H-13C HSQC and HMBC parameter files ?
What would you suggest as NMR experiments for this specific problem?

there is no ready made parameter set, sorry, If your 19F signals are not spread out too far you can easily start from a 1H/13C HSQC. Read an experiment such as HSQCETGP then change the nucleus in the observe channel to 19F and adjust O1P and SW. If you have calibrated the 19F pulses and entered them into prosol you can to getprosol and finally use the command "gradratio" to adjust the gradients. and you should be ready to go. One final adjustment. 1J(C,F) are typically larger 220 - 250 Hz so CNST2 needs to be adjusted as well.

For 19F-13C HMBC we started with the Bruker parameterset HMBCGPND ... for the rest you can just follow Clemens' advice....which is always a good one ;-) !
