CowLog is another option and is free :)

I have used Mangold Interact. There are heaps you can do with this software. However, I think this is not an free option.

In case you want to track animals rather than record their behavior automatically (not entirely clear to me from your question), idTracker might be an option (for free: https://www.idtracker.ai/). idTracker is able to track individuals without marking them even if they look extremely similar to the human eye (works with ants, fruit flies, zebrafish, mice...), but there are some requirements regarding the video quality (background, illumination, fps, resolution).
