There is no such "standard" so far nor it can be due to involvement of many variables included such as gender, social -economic background , practices and beliefs of different society.

So, who are the students (country , locality etc.) matters , if you know your target group then you need to know choices /options available to these students, then you can enlist after that comes formation and execution of Likert. So after having required information we can proceed with Likert.
