I am looking for a test mixture to validate and test suitable setups for several metabolomics experiments (targeted and non-targeted).
For this purpose it would be nice to have a reference mixture containing several typical metabolites. A reference standard, as it might be used in the AbsoluteIDQ p180 metabolite kit from Biocrates (which you only could buy in full package).
Anyone an idea what we could take (instead of making our own mix)?
I also went through this problem while trying to workout my metabolomics work. Unfortunately there is no such mix which contains metabolites of different nature. But there are some similar nature compound mixes available ex amino acids mix, sugar phosphates mix from sigmaaldrich, different fatty acid mix and various alkanes mix are commercially available standardization.
yes, I guess thats the only option to mix several mixtures (ammino acids and what ever) to a final testmix.
