Is the term "biologically-inspired neural network" redundant?

I am not sure about this, because there are many references and publications that talk about this. But from my understanding "neural" comes from "neuron", which is a nerve cell and a nerve cell is something biological already. So, isn't any neural network biologically-inspired?
