people are working on biofilter for the removal of gaseous pollutant compounds, in this rice husk, wood chips used as bedding material. In general rice husk contains silica, wood chips contains phenols. Due to these reasons, Is it any inhibition on microorganisms?

In my opinion, leaching of silica from rice husk and wood chips may inhibit microorganisms. But first check how much amount of silica is leached out from it. As rice or paddy plant absorbs silica from soil but it do not desorbs or leached out untill/ unless the rice husk is converted in to ash.
Lets see may be someone will put up light on this in a more appropriate way.

my coworker use rice husk with (biofilter) good results, not inhibition appear

During biofiltration, there are many factors which affect the degradation of harmful and malodorous gaseous pollutants to harmless and odorless by-products. One of the most important factor in context with your query is if the particular microbe/ consortium with which one is going to enrich the biofilter, is able to grow efficiently on the substrate used for bio-bed. Generally, rice husk is not a preferable (easy to utilize) substrate for microorganisms due to high lignin and silica content. Though, lignocellulolytic micro-organisms can grow over it but the microbe(s) degrading gaseous pollutants may not, necessarily, be of lignocellulolytic nature.
As such, silica won’t leach out from rice husk in an appreciable amount to inhibit the growth of micro-organisms. But, the tedious job here is if the micro-organism one is utilizing to activate the bio-bed, is able to grow over it by overcoming the barrier of silica incrustation in the cell wall of rice husk. And for this, one can opt to pretreat rice husk prior to use.

I agree with Kunal. but you have to find the best scal between your material. I think that use some softwar like design expert and use some method lespecialy RSM or taguchi to find this answer.
