In North America, the local health authority recommends washing hands with normal soap and water over using any kind of hand sanitizers. Hand sanitizer is recommended only in case normal soap and water aren`t avaliable.
Hand washing with normal soap and water is more effective way for protecting one against Covid-19. If this not available in such case hand sanitizer is advised .
