Measuring the impact of digital technology, including new online media on the process of learning and the effects of the education process can be based on a comparison of assessments at a specific time, a specific educational process supported by the use of new online media, social media portals and other technologies typical of the digital age. These technologies currently include mainly new technological solutions, streamlining improvements, innovations etc. regarding, among others, advanced data processing, including data obtained from the Internet, data processing in the cloud, Big Data database systems, using artificial intelligence, etc. These new technologies of advanced information processing co-create the current fourth technological revolution called Industry 4.0.
In view of the above, the current question is: Is the progressive increase in the digitization of education process instruments a feature of the current technological revolution known as Industry 4.0?

Конечно, использование цифровфых инструментов в образовательном процессе является характерной чертой современной технологической революции,известной как Индустрия 4.0, однако, при этом может утрачиваться харизма преподающего, ощущаемая при аудиторном и инфрмальном обучении
Hello Dariusz. There have already been iniviatives such as Education 4.0 with ambition to responds to the needs of Industry 4.0. Furthemore, these initiatives put focus on a lifelong learning that starts from elementary school to continuous learning in the workplace. I believe the intention is also in terms of learning to play a better role in society (wide range). Industry 4.0 as an initiative also started similar programmes such as Agriculture 4.0, Customer 4.0, Marketing 4.0 etc. What I find confusing is the fact that these changes towards Industry 4.0 were ongoing in mentioned sectors even without any relation to the so called fourth industrial revolution. So we might experience just labelling or marketing these processes.
In the context of the above considerations, the following question is also current:
Are informational Internet services, including social media portals, used in education processes in schools and universities?
