Artificial Intelligence came in existence many decades ago. Then came Machine Learning algorithms. In today's world, we keep hearing about Machine Learning and Deep Web. Is the impact of Machine Learning going to create a lasting and positive impact?
With prevalence of computational resources, several AI algorithms which were difficult to be implemented can be implemented now. A lot of companies are already accepting the AI algorithms and have already considered using them in their product. I believe, that AI/ML/DL are going to be in hype quite a long time. My opinions might biased in the sense that I like to work with AI.
Artificial Intelligence -> Machine Learning -> Deep Learning -> Reinforced Learning --> will evolve into better human intelligence.
If history is any indicator, then ML will go through a cycle of disillusionment as AI did. Expectations are way too high and results have been less than impressive. This disconnect in expectations vs delivery will have an impact on funding and future investments in ML.
As with previous AI winters development will continue but at a less visible level and investment hysteria.
Still we are lacking in data which is relevant to the problem and difficulty in accessing real time data. if it is all cleared, we will have more future on machine learning and deep learning algorithms
