The observation diagram of the gravitational waves in the GW151226 merging scene seem to show gw-vibrations after the merger. What can we say about that?
It tells about the strain experienced in the space-time as a result of the merger.
GW-vibrations after the merging (black hole quasinormal modes) contain information on the final black hole mass and spin (Kerr papameter a).
In fact, there seem to be bigger echos too...
